Sorare Enters Into Multi-Year Partnership With Soccer Legend Zinedine Zidane

Sorare officially announced its multi-year partnership with soccer legend Zinedine "Zizou" Zidane. To kick off the celebration, the platform is releasing Zidane's Legend cards.

Zizou's Legend cards focus on his time in 1998 with the France national team.

"Collecting trading cards, for us, that was when it really started," Zidane said in a video Sorare posted on Twitter. "Before a season, or a World Cup, that was a moment for us to get together and say, 'I want this card. I want this sticker.' Today, the digital Sorare cards have taken over the physical ones of our time."

Zinedine Zidane is a former French soccer player (footballer) and current French professional soccer manager. He was named FIFA World Player of the Year in 1998, 2000, and 2003. He also won the 1998 Ballon d'Or, or Golden Ball, an award presented by France Football.
