Cool Cats Releases More Comic Details
Cool Cats shared more details on its upcoming Cool Comics release via a blog post this morning.
Cool Comics will provide the team with a "great opportunity to expand the visual element of Cool Cats beyond static artwork," reads the release.
The first in a line of Cool Comics series will be "The CATaclsym," a four-part series that will thread four disparate storylines into one piece in the following Cool Comics series.
Who Is Eligible To Mint Cool Comics?
Cool Comics NFT minting will be available exclusively to Cool Pets or Cool Cats holders.
A limited amount of Cool Comics NFTs will be available for minting. Want to get your hands on one? The comics will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis and operate as individual ERC-721s on the Ethereum blockchain.
All minting will be done via the official Cool Cats website, utilizing the "Comic Drop" section accessible via the meowpad.
How Do I Mint a Cool Comics NFT?
To officially mint a Cool Comics NFT, users will need to connect to the Cool Cats site and burn $MILK, the native Cool Cats ecosystem token, to activate the ETH minting function.
Once the minting function has been activated, users will be able to mint their NFT.
There is a fee associated with minting on the Ethereum blockchain, but the Cool Cats team is covering the cost of burning $MILK on Matic.
Will There Be Rarities?
Each Cool Comics NFT will have built-in rarity, featuring five different covers and matching the rarity tiers outlined by the original Cool Cats NFTs.
The Cool Comics NFTs will reveal approximately one week after the minting process has begun.
Owners can also expect that the rarity of their Cool Comics NFT will affect the rarity of potential deliverables or utility afforded to Cool Comics NFT holders in the future.
What Else Is Coming?
Cool Comics will not just be a single NFT. Instead, the Cool Cats team hinted at the potential future deliverables of the Cool Comics NFT with the following examples:

When Is the Cool Comics Mint?
Though the details are subject to change, the Cool Cats team shared that the Cool Comis NFT mint will take place on September 21 at 1:00 p.m. ET. There will be 2,500 Cool Comics NFTs available for 75,000 $MILK (approximately $26).
