Despite Animoca Partnership, Web3 Leaders Split on MILK
In this post

Yesterday the Cool Cats announced a strategic partnership with Animoca Brands to tap into Animoca's deep gaming expertise.

Yet, despite the announcement, some web3 leaders are on opposite sides of the news.

While Mando sees potential upside with $MILK, Rug Radio founder and longtime Cool Cats holder and advocate, Farokh, doesn't presently see value in $MILK, or the Cool Cats' companion - Cool Pets.

He said in reply to Mando's tweet, "The only issue is $MILK has no value and Cool Pets don't either as far as I'm concerned...Would love to see what's next for MILK and pets."

The Cool Cats' $MILK token is up nearly 4 percent over the last 24 hours, and more than 35 percent in the last month according to CoinGecko, but the utility token for the Cooltopia gaming universe is down 99 percent from its all-time high price of $0.187 on Feb. 18.

A day after his tweet, Farokh accepted an offer of 5 ETH on Cool Cat #6278, registering a 10 ETH loss on the sale.

Nevertheless, the Rug Radio founder has remained adamant about his support of the Cool Cats project and still holds at least three Cool Cats NFTs and 18 Cool Pets NFTs at the time of writing.

On top of the Animoca partnership, the Cool Cats recently announced former Disney executive Stephen Teglas as CEO.
