Zed Run Introduces Top Six Payouts

Zed Run announced a change to its payout structure in certain races that will result in a larger percentage of the pool being paid out this morning in a Discord post.

Moving forward, the top six finishing racehorses in a given race will receive prize money in the following entry fee race types:

  • $2.50 races
  • $10 races
  • $50 races
  • $500 races

The change will affect single races only and there will be no change to the payout structure for tournaments in the short-term. Although these races will now be more akin to "50/50s" moving forward, Zed Run's blog post does note that rewards will still be "weighted towards the higher placings from one to six," though the exact breakdown was not mentioned.

These changes are expected to take effect sometime later today.
