Human One is a rectangular box displaying an astronaut journeying through different landscapes. This piece, which fetched an astounding $29 million at Christie’s in 2021, will be showcased at the Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, Arkansas.
The artwork is currently owned by Ryan Zurrer, a Swiss venture capitalist. He has previously participated in philanthropic auctions with Christie's, supporting his nonprofit Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), and lent Human One to various art institutions globally.
In an added twist, Beeple has crafted a unique NFT scavenger hunt for attendees of the Crystal Bridges Museum. Visitors who identify clues hidden within the artwork can unlock NFTs the artist created in his studio.
