Instagram Testing NFTs on Its Platform

Instagram is testing the integration of NFTs with "a handful" of creators this week, according to a video posted by Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri today on Twitter.

"We wanted to start small and learn from the community," Mosseri said. "...one of the challenging things we need to solve as an industry is how to help creators make a living doing what they love."

There will be no fees associated with the collectibles, Mosseri said. On Saturday, CoinDesk published a story about the rollout, saying that Meta — Instagram's parent company — planned on allowing Instagram users to sell NFTs from the Ethereum, Polygon, Solana and Flow networks.
