An NFT with a 4K copy of "Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" along with other bonus features is coming to a web3 streaming and media platform.
Eluvio, a company that touts its "blockchain-controlled, real-time content storage and distribution network," is selling 10,999 copies of the extended edition of the film along with special features and commentaries, image galleries, and an AR collectible.
The sale, which is set for Oct. 21 at an unannounced time, includes 10,000 Mystery editions at $30 each and 999 Premiere Epic versions at $100 each. The Mystery editions include one "location-based navigation menu" from three film locations: The Shire, Rivendell, or the Mines of Moria. The Epic edition includes all three navigation menus and additional image galleries.
