Menswear Brand Psycho Bunny Releases First NFT

Psycho Bunny is releasing a collection of NFTs from street artist Buff Monster that reimagines the menswear brand's logo.

This is the first NFT for the clothing company, which grew in popularity over the past decade for its high-quality polo shirts that retail for about $100.

"Consumers are starved for bespoke experiences that are tailored for them by their favorite brands, and we see the metaverse as the future of customer interactions," says Justin Cohen, Chief Commercial Officer of Psycho Bunny, in a release. "NFTs represent a way for our fans and customers to have digital ownership over a piece of the brand and the collaboration continues our mission of supporting the arts and independent artists and allows us to invest in the collective freedom of the metaverse."

The company teamed up with Buff Monster, a street artist whose NFTs on Nifty Gateway fetch up to $4,000. Buff Monster did his “drippy take” on the Psycho Bunny logo for an edition of 100 (0.04 ETH each) and five 1-of-1 NFTs (0.1 ETH each).

The 100-edition NFT is currently minting at 0.04 ETH. There have been no secondary sales as of Saturday afternoon.

"I was happy when Psycho Bunny reached out about working on a project together," said artist Buff Monster in a release. "It's a cool brand with a good history of artist collaborations…In the end, it's a nice little collection of new and unique pieces that I hope the die-hard Psycho Bunny fans really appreciate."
