National Lampoon Launches Web3 Studio
National Lampoon, the production company that assumed control of the former humor magazine and entertainment brand that launched movies such as "Animal House" and "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation," is getting into NFTs, the company announced on Twitter Thursday.
Under its new web3 arm, National Lampoon Studios, the company is offering all-access passes to new content, airdropped collectibles, and more, in the form of 4,669 Poison Pill NFTs on Oct. 26 — all to build "the Comedy Club for the Metaverse."
National Lampoon Studios revealed its project and its list of advisors on its website Thursday. Those names include Jim McNelis, Jeremy Drane (co-founder of Monax Labs), and Cameron Moulene (Non-Fungible Films).
