New GameStop NFT Marketplace Does More Than $1 Million in Volume Opening Day

GameStop's new NFT marketplace has completed more than $1 million in total volume on its transactions in the last 24 hours.

Led by MetaBoy, Ordinary NFT Cards, Power 2 The Apes!, CYBER CREW, and Player Gloves, GameStop's NFT marketplace had a successful launch.

MetaBoy did nearly 500 ETH in total volume over the last 24 hours, which is equivalent to more than $500,000. The floor price of the project is 0.05 ETH.

The highest floor price of any top 25 GameStop NFT marketplace projects is The Gamer Room at 0.49 ETH ($526).

The marketplace is a non-custodial, Ethereum Layer 2-based platform, which allows users to "truly own their digital assets," according to the company's press release.

The marketplace also connects to GameStop's recently-launched GameStop Wallet, which is where digital assets like MetaBoy NFTs can be held.

GameStop's stock (GME) price is up eight percent today to $140.25 at the time of writing this post.
