Now Live in the App Store & Google Play: the Floor NFT App

After 400 days in the making, the Floor App is officially live in the App Store and Google Play.

Until now, use of the Floor App has been restricted to holders of Floor App NFT tokens during the project's closed beta phase. During this closed beta period, Floor has on-boarded 15,000 token holders who have collectively logged over 2M app sessions. Moving forward, Floor will become a more publicly available app, but access to the app will still be "invite-only" for now. 

Floor is also focused on shifting the way collectors use the app from a "single-player to multi-player" environment, and this next phase will allow users to help each other "discover, navigate and create communities in web3." As part of this shift, Floor users will be able to create new social identities to manage how they appear in this new environment. Users will be able to link multiple wallets to a single profile, control what information in those wallets becomes public and private, and manage the amount of activity that gets publicly shared. Floor notes that this initiative will "start off-chain, and in time, move on-chain."

Finally, the Floor team is working to add more discoverability to its service by adding more curated content to the platform. This objective will build on the app's "Discover" feature, which has already brought hundreds of content pieces to the app since its launch.
