OneFootball, a leading digital football platform with over 200 million fans, announced the creation of OneFootball Club (OFC) in collaboration with Animoca Brands, built on the Base blockchain. The club aims to reward the most engaged football supporters globally, celebrating their dedication and participation within a secure community of like-minded fans.
The OFC allows fans to document their football journey, evolving their profiles to become unique and identifiable. As fans engage, they can compete on global leaderboards for rewards, achievements, and exclusive benefits. This gamified experience is integrated across the OneFootball ecosystem, providing every fan with a platform to display their unique way of enjoying football.
In February 2024, OneFootball released an alpha version to a select group of users, achieving engagement with more than 300,000 participants. The next phase of the rollout is scheduled for July 2024.
