OpenSea Adds New Wallets to Android Mobile App

OpenSea, the top secondary NFT marketplace, is adding support for new wallets on its Android mobile app, according to a recent tweet.

The new feature is thanks to WalletConnect, which supports more than 170 different crypto wallets, including Rainbow and Ledger Live.

WalletConnect currently processes 1 billion total connections per day, nearly 25,000 messages per second, and is integrated with more than 450 applications, according to its website.

OpenSea's newest announcement lines up with its best week in total secondary volume in months. Yesterday, OpenSea did $25 million in total volume on Ethereum-based NFTs, which is the most it has done since Jun. 14.

The new integration with WalletConnect should make it easier, faster, and safer for Android users to buy, sell, and trade NFTs on OpenSea's secondary marketplace app.
