NFT market participants subscribed to the OpenSea mailing list may have received an email sent in error on Thursday afternoon.
The email was sent in the patented OpenSea template with the subject line "Get ready to mint Email Reminders Public Drop."
According to the platform, the email was sent prematurely and by accident.
As a reminder, users should always proceed with caution when clicking links or engaging with emails. Previously, bad actors have utilized OpenSea's email template as a means of phishing unsuspecting users.
