OpenSea Expands Attribute-Based Offers

OpenSea Expands Attribute-Based Offers

OpenSea has officially expanded attribute-based collection offers on its marketplace according to a morning announcement.

With attribute-based offers, users can send a wETH offer to all NFTs with a particular attribute or trait. For example, a user hoping to bid for any "Trippy" Bored Ape will be able to do so.

As part of the expansion, creators who wish to allow for attribute-based offers on their collections can opt-in via the collection settings to participate.

The move comes as part of OpenSea's recent move to the Seaport Protocol. The open-sourced Seaport Protocol offers advanced functionality and more flexibility for those looking to buy and sell NFTs on OpenSea's NFT marketplace. Despite the recent acquisition of NFT marketplace aggregator Gem, and the rollout of Seaport Protocol, in June OpenSea saw its lowest trading volumes since July, 2021.
