OpenSea Spends $160K on its ENS
About three weeks after laying off 20 percent of its workforce, OpenSea has purchased its eponymous ENS address for more than $165,000.
The verified OS-Wallet purchased opensea.eth Tuesday from NFTWhales, a holder of a few dozen ENS names, for 99.8931 ETH. The move comes after CEO Devin Finzer shared an announcement on Twitter about the layoffs and the need to prepare the company for a "prolonged downturn."
This is the only move the OS-Wallet has made, though it has been sent several NFTs including a Lost Poet Page from Murat Pak.
