'Perils of Sēsē' is taking a bold new direction, offering a deep dive into Seneca's personal and artistic world, creating an expansive, non-linear narrative that challenges traditional storytelling in digital art.
A key innovation of 'Perils of Sēsē' is the introduction of the ERC-7160 Token Standard. This breakthrough allows for multiple metadata options per artwork, enabling dynamic displays and evolving stories as collectors interact with their pieces. Collectors can also "pin" a preferred display version, which will remain even as new layers are added to the dynamic piece. The "Blossoms" feature ensures that the artworks evolve over time, revealing new aspects and deepening the viewer's engagement.
The collection consists of 2,880 story pages, each piece a part of a larger, interconnected universe. Inspired by the likes of Maurice Sendak, Mary Blair, and Dr. Seuss, Seneca blends traditional animation charm with the modernity of digital art. This homage is further enriched by incorporating elements from her collection of cel frames from iconic animated shows like "The Simpsons" and "Peanuts."
