The Bulk

Quantum Cats, a much-anticipated Bitcoin NFT project, announced a delay in its minting process.

Udi Wertheimer, the founder, detailed the reasons and the new schedule for the mint, attributing them to technical challenges faced during the initial minting phase.

The project aims to offer a unique minting experience, addressing common problems like fee and gas wars, and ensuring a smooth and fair process for all participants. Despite the hiccup, about 1,000 Quantum Cats were successfully minted. The team reassures that all funds and minted cats are secure and that those who initiated transactions will receive their Quantum Cats.

The new schedule for the whitelist mint is set for February 1st, from noon-5 p.m. ET, followed by a public mint starting at 6:00 p.m. ET. This extension and delayed schedule aim to provide a more comfortable experience for global participants.

📊 By the Numbers

In USD terms, Quantum Cats is one of the most expensive mints of all-time, minting for 0.1 BTC (~$4,300).
