Slope has released an official statement to provide an update following a hack that affected the Solana ecosystem late last night.
The team said while it is unaware of the exact cause of the breach at this juncture, they do have "some hypothesis" and mentioned that some of its own staff was affected in the breach, having their own wallets drained.
Also mentioned was that the team is working with security experts and developers to try and pinpoint the problem. The teams are currently conducting audits and investigations to look further into the potential breach.
While the nature of the breach is still unconfirmed, Slope did suggest that users create a new wallet and transfer their assets to it if they were not previously stored on a hardward wallet.
