Sorare Adds New Juan Sebastián Verón Legend Cards
Juan Sebastián Verón is getting new Sorare Legend cards, according to a recent tweet from Sorare's official Twitter.
The new cards feature his efforts during his second Scudetto and third Coppa Italia in 1999 to 2000.
"My arrival at Lazio was a very important step," he said. "That Lazio team had incredible players - Alessandro Nesta, Sinisa Mihajlovic, Nedved, Salas, Simeone. I didn't have a fixed position. I played in every midfield position."
The championship game against Juventus was special to him.
"How that championship ended was incredible," he continued. "We were two points below Juventus. It was incredible because all around Italy, it was sunny, except in Perugia, where it was raining heavily. I'd never experienced having to wait almost 50 minutes to know whether we'd lost, tied, or won the championship."
Juan Sebastián Verón and his team ended up winning.
"We went from nerves to joy and excitement," he remembered. "It was a very, very long day, but it was great in the end."
