Sorare Adds Transparency to Its Manager Sales Marketplace

Sorare is now showing a new "market fee" module when sellers on the Sorare Manager Sales Marketplace list their NFTs.

This new addition to the selling process is meant to increase the company's transparency, and it will have no immediate impact on marketplace fees, which are currently 100 percent covered by the Sorare team.

"We are doing this in an effort to create more transparency on the fees we do and do not cover," Sorare wrote on its Medium blog. "Sorare has always covered the Manager Sales Marketplace fee and will continue to cover the fee for Sorare: Football and Sorare: MLB for the foreseeable future. Market fees are standard within the industry and we will continue to ensure our product offering and fee structure create the best overall experience for our managers."

Sorare is built on the Ethereum blockchain, but it intentionally attempts to remove the complexity of cryptocurrencies and NFT technology by hiding on-chain transactions using startups like Ramp.
