Sorare Announces 2022-23 Second Division Leagues

Sorare recently announced coverage for the top European second divisions for this upcoming year, according to a blog post from the platform.

The new scoring will go into effect on Friday, Aug. 26, which is Game Week 300, and includes the following leagues: German Bungdesliga 2 (2. Bundesliga), Spanish La Liga 2 (Segunda Division), Italian Serie B (Serie BKT), French Ligue 2 (Ligue 2 BKT), and the English Football League (EFL) Championship.

The new contest, called Second Division Europe, is expected to start this fall, and more details are coming soon. But details on rules, rewards, and competition requirements are out now.

All cards must be of players from the second division of Champion Europe leagues to qualify for second division Champion Europe starters and regulars rewards.

There will be five competitions with five different requirements for entry, taken directly from Sorare's blog post.

1. Second Division Europe Limited: five Limited cards
2. Second Division Europe Rare: five Rare cards
3. Second Division Europe Rare Pro: at least three Rare cards, up to two Super Rare cards
4. Second Division Europe Super Rare: at least three Super Rare cards, up to one Rare cards, up to 1 Unique card
5. Second Division Europe Unique: at least three Unique cards, and up to 2 Super Rare cards (Will be opening when card supply is sufficient for gameplay)
