Sorare Sees Nearly $1.5 Million in 24-Hour Volume After MLB Launch

Sorare, which recently released its MLB product, has seen nearly $1.5 million in total volume, or 1,000 ETH, in the last 24 hours, a 167 percent uptick from the prior 24 hours.

Sorare's MLB marketplace opened earlier this morning and has been slowly auctioning off Limited, Rare, and Super Rare NFTs for the last few hours. Bids for certain All-Star players, like Aaron Judge and Juan Soto, have reached multiple thousands of dollars.

The highest current bid is $1,800 for a Super Rare Juan Soto (Year One Edition) NFT. Super Rare is limited to 100 total NFTs, Rare is limited to 1,000 total NFTs, and Limited is limited to 5,000 total NFTs. 

The MLB and Football (soccer) marketplaces have nearly 6,000 total buyers and more than 38,000 transactions in the last 24 hours.

The first MLB contest on Sorare starts on Jul. 22 at 6:30 p.m. ET and ends of Jul. 25.
