Top Youth Footballers Get Exclusive Panini NFTs
Panini America is partners with Sports Illustrated (SI) Tickets to commemorate select rising football stars with their own exclusive NFT trading cards, according to a press release shared with Lucky Trader.

- PSI Elite Five Rated Prospect NFT Collectibles will be issued on Panini’s private blockchain.
- First fans purchasing Texas Gridiron Classic tickets receive a free, randomly chosen NFT from the limited edition set.
- Each ticket holder gets SI Tickets' new NFT Super Ticket, an SI Fan Cover, and a $10 wallet credit.
- Akili Smith Jr., son of 1999's No. 3 overall NFL draft pick, is one of the athletes featured in the NFT set.
The Bulk
In a new partnership with Sports Illustrated, Panini America will honor some of the nation's top youth football players with exclusive "Rookie" NFT trading cards. Panini, a leading sports and entertainment collectibles company, will mint the PSI Elite Five Rated Prospect NFT Collectibles set on their private blockchain. This set, limited in edition, features five of the country's most promising athletes, all aged between 5 and 16 years old.
The lucky fans who secure the first tickets to the Texas Gridiron Classic, powered by Prospects by SI, will be awarded a free NFT trading card from this exclusive set. Those who buy tickets closer to the event date will receive an alternate limited edition NFT collectible, also at no extra cost.
Each ticket holder will receive SI Tickets' NFT Super Ticket, an innovative initiative that enriches fan engagement through interactive barcode content before, during, and after the game. The package also includes an SI Fan Cover from the game and a $10 credit for the SI Tickets marketplace.
The NFT set is headlined by Akili Smith Jr., a prodigious 16-year-old quarterback who is the son of the No. 3 overall NFL draft pick in 1999, Akili Smith Sr. The other four athletes also showcase impressive talent and promise for the future.
