The lucky fans who secure the first tickets to the Texas Gridiron Classic, powered by Prospects by SI, will be awarded a free NFT trading card from this exclusive set. Those who buy tickets closer to the event date will receive an alternate limited edition NFT collectible, also at no extra cost.

Each ticket holder will receive SI Tickets' NFT Super Ticket, an innovative initiative that enriches fan engagement through interactive barcode content before, during, and after the game. The package also includes an SI Fan Cover from the game and a $10 credit for the SI Tickets marketplace.

The NFT set is headlined by Akili Smith Jr., a prodigious 16-year-old quarterback who is the son of the No. 3 overall NFL draft pick in 1999, Akili Smith Sr. The other four athletes also showcase impressive talent and promise for the future.

🎤 Founder Feedback

Every kid’s dream growing up is to one day have their own trading card, and with the emergence of NFT sports collectibles, this is an opportunity for these five elite kids to get their own NFT trading card. The delivery of first-of-its-kind NFT trading cards for these future stars was just a natural and authentic alignment.Jason Howarth, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Athlete Relations at Panini America
