Early access to a new wallet security product from Upstream CEO and Goblintown.wtf co-founder Alexander Taub is now open to prospective users.
Users can register for Upstream's Vault DAO by providing their name and email. Vault DAO lets a user set up a DAO with themselves, adding as many wallets as the user wants to add.
"You can think of it as a crypto Council of Ricks for those "Rick and Morty" fans here," said Taub in a blog.
Taub said he was looking for a solution to avoiding that "one bad click" that could "drain your entire net worth" outside of hardware wallets and other custodial solutions.
A recent hack on the Solana network drained about 8,000 wallets of a combined $5.7 million and the Federal Trade Commission estimated that more than $1 billion has been lost to scams from January 2021 to March 2022.
