Washington Nationals to Give Away Commemorative NFT at Upcoming Baseball Game

The Washington Nationals are giving away commemorative NFTs this Saturday for Ryan Zimmerman's retirement weekend.

Every ticket buyer who attends the game this weekend against the Philadelphia Phillies will receive the customized NFT, which will include their section and seat number.

The game will take place at 4:35 p.m. ET. The gates open at 2:30 p.m. and the special pregame ceremony starts at 3:15 p.m.

Zimmerman's jersey number (#11) is being retired by the organization for his incredible career. After getting drafted in 2005, he has since earned himself an All-Star, Gold Glove award, Silver Slugger award, and a 2019 World Series Championship ring.

The first 10,000 children at the game (age 12 or under) will also receive a 2006 Ryan Zimmerman jersey t-shirt.
