World's Largest Telecom Giant AT&T to Host Educational Event on Digital Assets
The world's largest telecommunications company, AT&T, is embracing the digital future and holding an event to discuss innovation and unique security challenges in our increasingly digital world.
"Innovation is central to delivering strong business outcomes," the company wrote in its announcement. "And, security is at the core of innovative offerings for your digital assets - your applications, your data, your infrastructure, and your endpoints."
The event, which is called Securing Your Digital Assets Today and Tomorrow, starts at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Jul. 27. It is expected to last 30 minutes and will feature guests like Theresa Lanowitz, the director of cybersecurity communications at AT&T Business, and Jonathan Nguyen-Duy, the vice president of Fortinet, a global leader in cyber security solutions and services.
Discussion points for the event include: what the edge means, why security is critical to innovation, and how network functions and security controls are converging.
The event does not specifically address NFT technology, but as the industry more deeply penetrates mainstream culture, it must become a part of the discussion.
