Bored Ape Council Debuts New Twitter Account

The Bored Ape Council debuted a new Twitter account this afternoon via tweet, also confirmed by co-founder Wylie Aronow (via retweet). The new handle is @BAYCCouncil.

The council page will be used to host official twitter spaces, share details on council events, and provide updates to the community.

The council also shared that they will never DM NFT holders asking for sensitive information or anything requiring a wallet signature - an ever-important security reminder for the BAYC community.

Community members are encouraged to watch out for the first official spaces, coming soon.

What is the Bored Ape Council?

It is a group of notable BAYC NFT holders "with a proven track record of proactively and positively contributing to the club since the start." The council is meant to represent the larger community and allow their voice to be heard.
