Yuga Labs Pledges $1 Million to Support Art and Education Programs in Miami
Yuga Labs, the founders of Bored Apes, announced that it is pledging $1,000,000 to support the growth of arts and education programs where the project was founded in Miami, according to a recent tweet.
Yuga kicked off its pledge with donating $300,000 to the Venture Miami Scholarship Fund, which was created to help provide free tuition to students in Miami who are pursuing a degree in STEM at a Miami based institution.
The team seems enthused to be helping our its community as it said "as a web3 company, it’s been amazing to watch how the city of Miami has committed to becoming a global hub for the crypto/blockchain community – it’s one of the main reasons we’re so excited to keep building out our business and club here" in its official blog post.
Market participants should stayed tuned for more updates on Yuga Labs' pledge according to the team.
This announcement follows the news from yesterday that Yuga Labs is now facing an SEC investigation.
