Actor Bill Murray Joins the Cool Cats Community

Oscar-nominated and Emmy-award-winning Actor and comedian Bill Murray joined the Cool Cats community late last night with a 3.9 ETH ($4,224.23) purchase of Cool Cat #8413.

Cool Cat #8413 features a stunned face (fitting for this occasion), a beret green hat, a buttondown black flannel, and the Cool 1 tier trait.

The account that purchased the Cool Cats NFT, BillMurray1000, also holds three Boss Beauties NFTs and CryptoPunk #5530.

Murray, as seems to be the case with most celebrities entering the web3 space, is launching is own NFT project in three days. The Bill Murray 1,000 is a collection of 1,000 NFTs based on 100 stories from Murray's long and successful acting career. The project is set to launch on The Chive via blockchain startup Project Venkman.

Murray is best known for his roles in Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, Lost in Translation, and Caddyshack. He is still acting and expects to have at least four new movies out in 2022 and 2023, including a role in Marvel's upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
