CryptoPunk 2924 Sells for 3,300 ETH
CryptoPunk #2924 sold for 3,300 ETH, almost $4,500,000, earlier this evening according to the official CryptoPunks website.
In ETH terms, this purchase marks the fourth highest CryptoPunk sale of all time and ninth all-time in USD.

The Punk is one of twenty-four Ape CryptoPunks and is the only Ape CryptoPunks NFT with the "Hoodie" trait.
The sale has prompted Punk holders such as @punk9059 to give their take on the situation.

In USD, it's not that out of sync w risk assets. Punk 4156 (blue bandana ape) sold for $10.2mn in December. Cowboy Ape sold for $7.7mn in Feb.

Seedphrase, the seller of the NFT, has been trying to sell the NFT periodically throughout the month, first listing it on Sept. 12 for 4,210 ETH, more than $7,000,000 at the time, then they began gradually decreasing the price last week until it sold today for 3,300 ETH.

Details on the buyer of the NFT are currently unknown.
Since the sale happened, CryptoPunk #5944, a Zombie Punk, received an offer of 800 ETH, which is just north of $1,000,000.
