CryptoPunks Gain Steam After $3.3 Million Ape Sale

CryptoPunks are flying off the virtual shelves today after Punk 4156 sold for more than $3.3 million (2,690 ETH).

In the last hour, 10 CryptoPunks sold for a total of 3,697.22 ETH, or more than $4.5 million. The average sale price, not including Punk 4156, has been 111.9 ETH.

The Punks floor price is currently 78.9 ETH for females and 81.95 ETH for males. The zombie floor price is 1,350 ETH, the new ape floor price is 4,000 ETH, and the alien floor price is still 12,340 ETH, or an outstanding $15.1 million.

Also within the last hour, a potential buyer made a bid of 700 ETH on Punk 1119, a zombie with an eye patch.

CryptoPunks has dominated the NFT market in the short-term, as Sudfah by Melissa Wiederr is the second highest traded project at 29 ETH this hour. Punks are even beating Otherdeed for Otherside's secondary marketplace volume in the last 24 hours, the second highest traded asset, by more than 2,500 ETH just this hour.
