CryptoPunks Gains in Twitter PFP War

CryptoPunks, the OG 10k pfp NFT project, is gaining ground on Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and Moonbirds in the Twitter profile picture war.

In the last 36 hours, the CryptoPunks community added more than 100 new Twitter pfps, according to data from NFT Inspect.

This is nearly a three percent increase from 4,583 to 4,702 CryptoPunks representing their community via Twitter's profile picture.

The battle for pfp supremacy is currently led by Clone X, which has 6,693 members representing its community on Twitter. This is, however, only 35 percent of the available NFTs in this project, compared to Bored Ape Yacht Club, which has 6,347 representing members at 63 percent of all available NFTs in its project. BAYC is ranked second.

CryptoPunks is ranked sixth (4,702 at 47%), trailing only Clone X, BAYC, Moonbirds (5,623 at 56%), Azuki (5,526 at 55%), and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (5,427 at 28%).

The punks community would need to see a significant increase in total Twitter pfps to catch any of the projects in the top five.
