Animoca Brands announced a multi-year strategic partnership with LayerZero Labs, the team behind the leading omnichain interoperability protocol, LayerZero. This partnership aims to broaden the reach of LayerZero’s solutions across various digital asset use cases, thereby enhancing user and developer experiences in gaming, entertainment, and other blockchain-based ecosystems.

Under this partnership, LayerZero will become the default interoperability choice for projects under Animoca Brands and its subsidiaries. Notably, Mocaverse, the interoperable infrastructure layer of Account, Identity, Reputation, and PointFi systems, and Open Campus, the decentralized education protocol, are already adopting LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard.

Furthermore, Animoca Brands and LayerZero will collaborate on community events such as hackathons and educational initiatives.
