NBA Top Shot Goes International

The NBA will be hosting a game in Paris tomorrow between the Bulls and Pistons, and NBA Top Shot will be activating a unique fan experience around the event by making "first-of-their-kind" commemorative ticket collectibles available for free to all fans who attend the Bulls-Pistons game in Paris.

❗ Why it Matters

Event ticketing has often been referenced as a use case for NFT technology. This will be Dapper Labs' first foray into the area.

🎟️ In-Person Activations

• The special edition digital collectible offered to attendees won't be considered a Top Shot Moment, but will be "awesome and first of its kind."
• Before the game, Dapper Labs will host an "intimate private event" for its VIP community.
• On January 20, Top Shot will host an event featuring special guest and former Chicago Bulls player Joakim Noah.
• At the Noah engagement, collectors will be able to purchase "The Tour" packs for $49 that feature Noah's Top Shot Debut Moment.

💻 Online Activations

For NBA Top Shot collectors who can't make the trip to Paris, there will be a series of fun surprises to help them join in on the celebration from home.

• Collectors can earn a Limited Edition Moment by locking two Moments featuring French NBA or WNBA players and/or players who meet certain thresholds in the Bulls-Pistons game.
• Dapper will drop NBA Top Shot Tour Souvenir Packs, which will be available in late January .
• These Souvenir packs feature a Team Moment of the home team from one of the 4 stops on the Top Shot Tour (Portland, Toronto, Miami, Detroit).
