Otherside Drops Litepaper for Project

Following the conclusion of a tech demo Saturday, Otherside released a litepaper on its project, providing details on the metaverse game and how users can build on the platform.

The Voyager's Journey is an 11-part storyline around a "mysterious Obelisk," the litepaper says. Voyagers (what Otherside calls its users) will be able to "develop their own experiences" and play a role in testing and "exclusive events," according to the document.

The project is in "Phase 1," the document says, and the litepaper will eventually be replaced by the Codex: a "living document co-written with the Voyagers."

The litepaper also says that Voyagers who assist in the development of the Otherside game will be "eligible to receive additional incentives related to Otherside in the future" — that includes participating in the First Trip, which was held Saturday, and showcased the gaming environment.

The litepaper also includes a section on the Agora which is Otherside’s "planned marketplace for buying, sorting, finding, trading, and selling the huge variety of things that can be created, farmed, harvested, and more."
