PROOF Acquires Divergence Engineering Team
Kevin Rose's PROOF Collective announced its acquisition of Divergence's engineering team.
Divergence has experience in the web3 and NFT spaces, creating smart contracts for projects like Brotchain, The Kiss Precise, and G-Money's Admit One collection.
As part of the acquisition, Arran Schlosberg, the co-founder of Divergence, will become the acting vice president of engineering for PROOF, which is the parent company of popular NFT project Moonbirds. Angharad Thomas, Divergence's other co-founder, will become the director of product.
"First, for those unfamiliar, Harri and Arran are some of the leading creatives and builders in the NFT art world, having given life to Brotchain, The Kiss Precise, and PROOF OF {ART}WORK," the team tweeted. "The duo also helped developed collections with PREMINT, G-Money, and are already a part of the PROOF family having supported the PROOF Collective and Moonbirds drops."
Schlosberg and Thomas will help to launch PROOF's social universe later this year, according to the Twitter thread.
More information about the team's expansion will be available at tomorrow's PROOF Parliament Twitter Spaces.
