Memeland Provides Potatoz 'Growing' Update

Memeland Provides Potatoz 'Growing' Update
In this post

Memeland provided an update on the status of its unique "grow-to-win" platform in a tweet on Friday afternoon

Most importantly, the project is awaiting a smart-contract audit prior to launching the mechanism. As compensation for the delay, the prize pool is being boosted by 10 Potatoz NFTs (1.15 ETH floor price). If the project does not launch growing next week, founder @9gagceo will add a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT (82.63 ETH floor price) to the prize pool.

The project also officially updated the FAQ section on grow.memeland.com.

What Is Grow-to-Win?

Grow-to-win is a unique twist on "staking," in which a user can essentially lock up their NFT, in exchange for raffle tickets that may reward users with NFT prizes from a prize pool.

Like Moonbird's Nesting mechanic, Memeland's staking will send Potatoz NFTs into different growth stages which may affect the user's yield.

Grow-to-win aims to reward loyalty, patience, and trust in Memeland according to the FAQ.

Users do not need to manually enter the raffles each week, instead, so long as they are "growing" their Potatoz NFT they will be automatically entered into the raffle draws. In week one, two holders of the MVP Potatoz, and twenty regular Potatoz NFTs will be selected as winners.

If a Potatoz NFT is "growing," it may not be listed for sale on third-party NFT marketplaces. Users will need to stop growing in order to list their NFT.
