As he did on Sunday when the metadata of the popular Checks project was updated to a Pepe-themed version of the art, Jack Butcher once again told holders to "check metadata" in a Tuesday evening tweet.

Butcher has popularized the "gamified open edition" meta that dominates the NFT scene right now, and he continues to experiment using his Checks collection.

- Checks NFTs now show a light black rectangle against a deeper black background, with a single white checkmark in the top right corner.
- Several holders noted the latest update somewhat resembles another of Butcher's projects: Merge VV.
- This latest update sent the collection's floor price upwards by around 0.3 ETH, now sitting at 2.5 ETH.
