Zed Run Parent Company Acquires Know Your Horses

Virtually Human Studio (VHS), the parent company of Zed Run, has announced the acquisition of analytics platform Know Your Horses (KYH) in an early morning blog post. VHS cited Know Your Horses' goal of "improving the player experience" as a key factor in the deal.

VHS will focus on integrating KYH's tools and analytics directly into the Zed Run platform to further develop useful in-game tools. VHS CEO and co-founder Chris Laurent said of the deal, "We have been bullish about the success of Know Your Horses and their impact on the Zed Run community for a while now. Regardless of current macro conditions, it is important we continue to make bold moves for the future."

The Know Your Horses team had previously been working on a broader play-to-earn analytics suite called Know Your Wallet under Lucky Trader. Post-acquisition, the team will refocus its efforts solely on Zed Run.
