NFT Sell Outs and Duds
This weekend saw a number of mints go live, with some selling out quickly and others not enjoying the same fortune and excitement.
The Ramen Shop, a collection of 4,600 3D animated ramen bowl NFTs promising free ramen around the world, opened up public minting on Saturday, earlier than planned, as the private sale did not go as well as intended. Public minting is still live at 0.05 ETH and reveal is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET today.
Silly Sushi also flopped upon public mint, going live Sunday evening, despite its founder, known on Twitter as Foodgod, having over 655,000 followers. Over 8,000 of the 10,000 NFTs in the collection remain unminted at 0.08 ETH. The unrevealed floor on OpenSea currently sits at 0.07 ETH.
On the other end of the minting spectrum, Skulltoons lived up to its hype. The 7,777 NFT collection by artist Teoduro Badiu did not even make it to public sale, which had some people on the oversubscribed “Skullylist” very angry with the team. Reveal is scheduled for 77 hours after launch at 11 a.m. ET on Mar. 23. As of this writing, the floor on OpenSea has risen from the mint price of 0.145 ETH to 0.249 ETH (0.255 ETH on LooksRare).

Activation was way higher than all other projects we analyzed.
Juicebox Frens, a 6,969 NFT collection with no roadmap and no Discord also sold out quickly after public mint yesterday. The meme-based NFTs minted for 0.025 ETH and currently sit at a floor of 0.083 ETH on OpenSea with 303 ETH total volume traded. Reveal is set for today at 7:20 p.m. ET.
ApeCoin Cools Off
Just as quickly as it heated up, ApeCoin, the biggest news and market mover of the last week, has cooled down.
Unfortunately, it seems to be taking the rest of the crypto market down with it. $APE hit a high of $17.75 early Friday morning but has since dropped. As of this writing the token is sitting at exactly $10.00.
Top cryptocurrencies also saw downturns over the past 24 hours. However, most of these coins, such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH), are still in the green on a rolling 7-day basis.
Upcoming Mints Today
Women from Venus, a collection of 5,555 digital women NFTs, is launching their public mint at 10 a.m. ET for 0.0555 ETH. The team is women-led and has a goal of educating and onboarding more women into web3.
Small Bros 24-hour presale will begin this afternoon at noon ET. The collection of 8,888 pfp avatar NFTs will allow those on the Broslist to mint up to two NFTs for 0.069 ETH each. Public mint will be raffle based, limited to one max per wallet, and will cost 0.079 ETH. The project’s roadmap promises merchandise, a 20 ETH donation to charity, and giveaways.
