DraftKings Reignmakers NFL Week 3 Diary: NFT Portfolio Insights, Game Stacks & Top Selections
Week 2 of the NFL season delivered yet another thrilling week of action, and now, we're gearing up for Week 3, which includes some highly enticing top prizes in DraftKings Reignmakers.
In this article, I'll guide you through my strategies for planning and preparing for the upcoming contests, ensuring that you can maximize the utility of your cards.
Upcoming Contests
First, it's crucial to familiarize everyone with the upcoming portfolio strategies, as many of them revolve around these contests. Here are the next set of significant contests in the DraftKings Reignmakers game:
- 150K GTD 50K to First ELITE (9/24)
- 250K GTD 100K to First CORE "RUSH only" (10/1)
- 100K GTD 20K to First RARE "International Only" (10/1)
Portfolio Recap & Strategy for Week 3
After DraftKings revealed the future utility of cards, I chose to retain most of my portfolio, emphasizing building my 2023 collection via my extensive 2022 collection, which boasts over 1,500 NFT cards with top-tier players.
Thanks to Lucky Trader's lineup optimizer, we can now seamlessly create our 2022 lineups.
The next opportunity to derive significant utility from these cards is the introduction of crafting recipes for the upcoming international contests starting next week. These recipes enable you to exchange 8 RARE 2022 cards, along with a RARE token, in return for 1 of those International cards designed for the specified contest. These International cards can only be acquired through prize packs or this crafting recipe, so I'll be directing much of my attention to 2022 lineups in preparation for this week.

This week, I've also acquired numerous CORE Rush set cards in anticipation of the significant first-place prize of 100K in the upcoming week. Our optimizer allows you to efficiently create optimized RUSH set lineups in seconds, enabling me to concentrate on expanding my portfolio and selecting the right cards and stacks.
Moving on to a bit of strategy for my primary lineup in Week 3: With two of my five starters on showdown slates (McCaffery and Jacobs), I've decided to replace those players and add Justin Jefferson. Given the price I paid for him, $750, it felt like a great deal. I'm sticking with Calvin Ridley as my primary receiver for the season and adding a Keenan Allen rare to create a game stack for the MIN vs. LAC matchup. This gives me three top-tier wide receivers, all playing in the 1:00 window.
This setup aligns perfectly with my quarterback, Justin Fields, who has a 4:25 start this week and will be facing the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. If the three-star wide receivers have a great game, it allows me to add another elite player to pair with Fields, such as Tony Pollard, who also starts in that 4:00 window. However, if they don't have a high-scoring game, there's no need to spend the money on Pollard, and I'll go with Roschon Johnson in the running back position. I invested in Johnson this week, expecting him to eventually take over as the starting running back in Chicago.
Considering the recent card additions, I'm nearing a robust secondary lineup in the Main ELITE tier. The head of that lineup is Aaron Jones a card I pulled in a pack this week, but, given his status, I decided not to bank on his production, and instead, had him head up a Deep-Roster lineup, that, if he plays, is rather strong.
