<h2>Top 30&nbsp;</h2>
Clone X and Chromie Squiggle were the lone movers inside the top ten this week. Chromie Squiggle jumped up one spot to No. 7 while RTFKT's premier PFP project fell one spot to No. 8.&nbsp;
Below I'll jump into the headlines that may have helped play a role in the latest movement.&nbsp;

<h3>What's New With Clone X?&nbsp;</h3>
The RTFKT team has been busy with Clone X and other collaborations in recent weeks, culminating in a collaborative drop with RIMOWA yesterday.&nbsp;
Unfortunately, that drop did not go as planned. <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/clonex/news/rtfkt-on-exploit-entire-team-worked-really-hard">A looping exploit was quickly discovered</a>, allowing users to exceed their allotted mints and hoard more than their fair share.&nbsp;
RTFKT CEO Samuel Cardillo quickly chimed in, only to defend the team and effort provided.&nbsp;
<blockquote>"Yes, I am aware of the issue with the loopable exploit. The reality is: this was the first raffle we've done, and also an intense collaboration with @oncyber. The entire team worked really hard, on both (ends), to ensure a very unique and new experience."</blockquote>
Though not directly attributable, it's ironic that the Clone X floor price dipped dramatically throughout the course of the day yesterday, at one point registering a decline of at least 17 percent to a 7.54 ETH floor price. That decline played a direct role in the drop in our rankings.&nbsp;
However, at this point, overnight action has pushed the floor price back up to 8.75 ETH perhaps as more caught wind of the <a href="https://twitter.com/obj/status/1585693485021409280" target="_blank" rel="noopener">latest celebrity collector - Odell Beckham Jr.&nbsp;</a>
More <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/clonex/news/rtfkt-teases-project-animus">is on the horizon</a> for Clone X and RTFKT though, and a few days remain in "Clonetober."
<h3>New Chromie Squiggles Coming</h3>
Chromie Squiggles jumped up one spot this week to No. 7 overall.&nbsp;
Despite the propensity for art projects to remain silent post-mint, Squiggles made headlines this week thanks to an announcement from SquiggleDAO - the fourth largest Squiggle holder.&nbsp;
Today at noon ET, <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/chromie-squiggle-by-snowfro/news/art-blocks-to-mint-10-squiggles-to-dao">SquiggleDAO will receive ten of the remaining unminted Squiggles</a>, directly from Snowfro the Art Blocks and Squiggles creator.&nbsp;
SquiggleDAO has a goal of owning 1,000 of the 10,000 available Squiggles NFTs in its quest to appropriately showcase the Squiggles "relevance in culture." After receiving the ten NFT installment, SquiggleDAO will hold 300 total Squiggles NFTs.&nbsp;
Given that SquiggleDAO has a long term intention of holding Squiggles, it is unlikely the additional supply will have any impact on the price, which has ticked up nearly nine percent this week to 12.93 ETH.&nbsp;
<h3>Other Movers</h3>
There was a lot of downward movement in our rankings this week, so much so that I'm providing only brief notes for a selection of notable movers.&nbsp;
<h4>Azuki&nbsp;</h4>
Despite <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/azuki/news/azuki-golden-skateboard-auction-closes-above-400k">selling the most expensive skateboards</a> (ever?!) Azuki has dropped a few spots in our rankings, largely on account of a significant volume dropoff. It was always going to be difficult to maintain the steep climb the project made up our rankings on the back of steamed volume amidst a bevy of announcements. Nevertheless, I think the project has likely solidified itself in the top ten for the foreseeable future.&nbsp;
<h4>Cool Cats</h4>
Cool Cats dropped a few spots as the floor price fell again this week. After climbing back above a 3 ETH floor, the price is once more challenging 2 ETH.&nbsp;
On top of the floor price decline, <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/cool-cats-nft/news/cool-cats-make-round-of-layoffs">a series of layoffs hit the company this week</a> and some impacted employees are disputing the claims made by the new Cool Cats CEO on how the process was handled. Details are yet to shake out, but it was not the best week for the Cats.
<h4>Gutter Cat Gang</h4>
Bullish delays may be a thing of the past in the NFT world. Many had anticipated a Q3 release of the project's native utility token $GANG, <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/guttercatgang/news/gangcoin-announces-delay">but we got word this week that the drop is unlikely to happen anytime soon</a> due to regulatory uncertainty.&nbsp;
Any notable project is likely to be incredibly cautious given the recent report that the SEC is probing Yuga Labs about the potential sale of unregistered securities. It is also worth noting, Gutter Cat Gang has retained the same legal help as Yuga, in the push to release its token.&nbsp;
On the bright side, the collection <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/guttercatgang/news/gutter-cat-gang-releases-merch-collab-with-jeff-staple">released a merch collaboration with Jeff Staple</a> and is primed to pick up some IRL followers <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/guttercatgang/news/gutter-cat-gang-x-bored-and-hungry">with its announced takeover</a> of the Bored Ape themed Bored &amp; Hungry Restaurant in Los Angeles.&nbsp;
<h2>PFP Rankings&nbsp;</h2>
While there is little movement in the <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/rankings/pfp">PFP Rankings</a> this week, OnChainMonkey made a surprising jump up 13 spots to No. 24.&nbsp;
The move comes on the heels of both a significant jump in volume and floor price over the course of the last week. The project registered a more than 200 percent increase in volume traded, more than 100 percent increase in unique sales, and an 82 percent increase in floor price <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/project-rankings?sortType=6&amp;activeTab=0&amp;activeTimeframe=Week">according to our market report.</a>&nbsp;
The project has been somewhat quiet on the news front, though in recent weeks it was announced that the OnChainMonkey logo and wordmark <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/onchainmonkey/news/on-chain-monkey-featured-on-nascar-car">would be in use for NASCAR driver Julia Landauer's car</a> and <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/onchainmonkey/news/on-chain-monkey-names-ryan-carson-as-advisor">Ryan Carson joined the project as an advisor</a>.&nbsp;
<h2>Art Rankings</h2>
Elevated Deconstructions made a major jump up in our <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/rankings/art">Art Rankings</a>, up five spots to No. 6. The project traded seven times in the last week, notching a major volume increase given the set hadn't experienced a sale in more than a month.&nbsp;
With the purchases the floor price has also steamed upwards more than 50 percent to 75 ETH at the time of writing. Among the notable purchasers was Seedphrase, who recently <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/cryptopunks/news/crypto-punk-2924-sells-for-3-300-eth">sold a pair of CryptoPunks</a> for millions.&nbsp;
<h3>Art Blocks Dominance</h3>
Art Blocks dominance is up week over week, with 18 of the top 30 projects in our Art Rankings coming from the generative art platform.&nbsp;

<h2>53. LetsWalk | 658 ETH Traded | 731% Increase Last 7 Days</h2>
Thanks to the recent LetsWalk Round 8 drop, the LetsWalk collection saw a massive increase in trading volume over the last seven days. The most recent round of characters from DeeKay featured animations depicting notable NFT influencers or characters mirroring some of the most important NFT projects and traits. For example, <a href="https://opensea.io/assets/0x0825f050e9b021a0e9de8cb1fb10b6c9f41e834c/10074" target="_blank" rel="follow noopener">this LetsWalk NFT</a> showcases the popular NFT and crypto personality, KeyBoardMonkey. <h2>60. Kevin Punks | 601 ETH Traded | 0.42 ETH&nbsp;</h2>
Yeah, the Kevin thing got really out of hand. After a laughable reveal from Pixelmon that sparked an insanity-fueled meme pump of Kevin, the friendly? Pixelmon creature, a handful of derivatives flooded the market looking to capitalize on Kevin. Not sure who or what Kevin is? We caught up with him.&nbsp;

<h2>73. Ringers | 506 ETH Traded | 1307% Increase Last 7 Days</h2>
It's been some time since the original Art Blocks Curated projects made dents in the OpenSea activity rankings, but this week both Ringers by Dimitri Cherniak and Chromie Squiggles by Snowfro find their way into the top 100.&nbsp;
Some of this may be due to the overall market selloff pushing market participants into more widely accepted "blue chip" NFTs, though that is clearly speculation. Otherwise, Ringers was clearly buoyed by the sale of <a href="https://opensea.io/assets/0xa7d8d9ef8d8ce8992df33d8b8cf4" target="_blank" rel="follow noopener">Ringer #376</a>,&nbsp;which was auctioned off, sending proceeds of its sale to the Ukranian relief effort.&nbsp;
<h2>88. Howlerz | 390 ETH Traded | -92% Decrease Last 7 Days</h2>
After minting out a few weeks ago in a sort-of-but-not-really-stealth mint, Howlerz has seen a sharp decline in both traded volume and floor price (0.27 ETH at time of writing). The CC0 project launched was launched by Christie's employee and NFT connector, <a href="https://twitter.com/NonFungibleNoah" target="_blank" rel="follow noopener">@NonFungibleNoah.</a>
In a week with lots of deep red decreases in terms of total volume, Howlerz were among the largest losers.&nbsp;

<h2>89. Chromie Squiggle | 372 ETH Traded | 130% Increase Last 7 Days</h2>
Last but not least, Chromie Squiggle by Snowfro saw a 130% increase in total traded volume over the last seven days, pushing it inside the top 100 this week. Could it be we see a small resurgence in Art Blocks Curated pieces? Or are Squiggles protected thanks to historical provenance as the market loses more liquidity and floor prices drip lower?&nbsp;

<h2>Intro to Snowfro</h2>
Erick Calderon was born in Mexico City, and currently lives in Houston, TX. He got the moniker &ldquo;Snowfro&rdquo; early in life from a snowcone stand that he used to run. He grew up working in a toy store and also had a job wrapping gifts when he was a teenager.&nbsp;
He studied International Business at the University of Texas before founding a ceramic tile business. He experimented with 3D printing and projection mapping as a hobby. Snowfro first discovered NFTs by seeing Larva Labs&rsquo; CryptoPunks on Reddit in 2017, and then found Autoglyphs a few years later.&nbsp;
As he went to claim <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/cryptopunks">CryptoPunks</a>, <a href="https://artynft.io/interviews/snowfro-erick/">he claimed</a> a bunch of the rare zombie trait ones. He thought that this didn&rsquo;t seem like a very fair randomized process, so he started digging through and claiming other ones he &ldquo;curated&rdquo; instead. This is part of what inspired him to create the Art Blocks platform. Snowfro also collects Meebits and NBA Top Shot collectibles.&nbsp;
In an <a href="https://www.rightclicksave.com/article/an-interview-with-snowfro">interview</a> with RightClickSave, Snowfro said: &ldquo;Everything in my life has involved blocks, whether it&rsquo;s tiles, three-dimensional sculptural blocks, or blockchain.&rdquo; He was in the ceramic tile business for 20 years.&nbsp;
Some of Snowfro&rsquo;s inspirations have been noted as James Turrell, an LED light artist, and Dan Flavin, who also used neon light bulbs to create his art. These inspirations were clear in the creation of his project Chromie Squiggles.&nbsp;
<h2>Art Blocks</h2>
In 2020, Snowfro founded the <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/art-blocks">Art Blocks</a> platform on the Ethereum blockchain after being inspired by Larva Labs. He realized the possibilities and demand for generative art, which could be authenticated using the power of the blockchain.&nbsp;
The platform allows both new and established digital artists to create and sell unique variations of their work. Art Blocks has done over 500,000 ETH of total volume and has drops multiple times per week.
Art Blocks moved to version &ldquo;2.0&rdquo; in October 2022. At first, Art Blocks had Series, which went from numbers 1 through 8. They <a href="https://www.artblocks.io/info/spectrum/the-end-of-numbered-series-1-8">retired this</a>, which leaves these earlier Curated releases in a league of their own. At the same time, they also moved from Factory, Playground, and Curated collections to just Presents (combining Factory &amp; Playground) and Curated.

Art Blocks Explorations was also added as a collection for 2.0. These are commissioned projects conceptualized and created in collaboration with the Art Blocks team.
In the heat of the Summer 2021 NFT bull market, Art Blocks was famous for its gas wars. Hopeful collectors would pay up in gas fees trying to prioritize their transaction over others, but many times they were left with empty pockets without an NFT.&nbsp;
Art Blocks changed their minting mechanism to a <a href="https://luckytrader.com/articles/are-dutch-auctions-really-bull">Dutch auction</a> format in order to combat bots and save on gas fees. Since then, the platform has continued to fight back against bots, as it is a popular target.&nbsp;
Some of the most prominent works on Art Blocks include <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/fidenza-by-tyler-hobbs">Fidenza</a> by Tyler Hobbs, <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/ringers-by-dmitri-cherniak">Ringers</a> by Dmitri Cherniak, and <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/chromie-squiggle-by-snowfro">Chromie Squiggles</a> by Snowfro. Auction houses like Christie&rsquo;s and Sotheby&rsquo;s have sold pieces from the platform both individually and in bulk lots. Art Blocks has also partnered with galleries like <a href="https://www.pacegallery.com/journal/art-blocks-and-pace-verso-announce-new-partnership-digital-art/">Pace Gallery</a>.&nbsp;

<h2>Chromie Squiggles</h2>
The first project on Art Blocks was <a href="https://www.artblocks.io/collections/curated/projects/0x059edd72cd353df5106d2b9cc5ab83a52287ac3a/0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chromie Squiggles</a>, which was created by none other than Snowfro himself in 2020. Squiggles have since become an iconic staple in the NFT and digital art world.&nbsp;
In the previously mentioned RightClickSave interview, Snowfro said: &ldquo;Originally, they [Squiggles] were a proof of concept rather than an art form, but over time they became a recognizable thing that I&rsquo;m now incredibly proud of. They were meant to be sweet and simple and clean, and they made people smile.&rdquo;
Squiggles have dominated web3 culture. Many prominent collectors in the space like <a href="https://opensea.io/6529Museum/chromie-squiggle-by-snowfro?search%5BsortBy%5D=LAST_SALE_PRICE" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Punk6529</a> have impressive Squiggle collections. Other NFT collections have used Squiggle-inspired traits, and an English Football League Two Team (Crawley Town) uses Squiggles on its <a href="https://twitter.com/WAGMIUnited/status/1541815773349519360?lang=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Adidas jerseys</a>.&nbsp;

Chromie Squiggles
&nbsp;
A Bold HyperRainbow Squiggle sold for $2.8 million in September 2021. This is the all-time high sale for a Squiggle at the time of this post. The lucky seller had originally minted it for $22 just nine months earlier.&nbsp;
Chromie Squiggles have done over 63,000 ETH in total volume. There are still a few hundred to be minted, and the collectors will be handpicked by Snowfro. The very last Squiggle will be donated to LACMA.&nbsp;
Squiggles have been a center point of an annual digital art event known in the NFT space as Marfa. Art Blocks&rsquo; official gallery is in the tiny West Texas town of Marfa. Marfa&rsquo;s history of pushing the boundaries in art makes it a fitting home for generative art to thrive among artists, creators, technology enthusiasts, and futurists.&nbsp;
In 2023, <a href="https://www.artblocks.io/info/spectrum/third-annual-open-house-weekend" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marfa weekend</a> will once again bring together digital artists and NFT collectors. Squiggles will be seen all over the town. The New Yorker <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/news/letter-from-the-southwest/when-nfts-invade-an-art-town" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote about</a> the unique event in 2022.
<h2>Friendship Bracelets</h2>
Snowfro&rsquo;s <a href="https://luckytrader.com/nft/friendship-bracelets-by-alexis-andre/news">second project</a> on the Art Blocks platform was Friendship Bracelets, which came about in October 2022. This was a collaboration with artist Alexis Andr&eacute;, created to celebrate the Art Blocks community. The project pairs creative coding with a beautiful spectrum of embroidery floss colors. Each member of the Art Blocks team designed and named their own color palette; there are 36 total.
The inspiration behind the project was also from Donald Judd, an American minimalist artist. On the Friendship Bracelets <a href="https://www.artblocks.io/info/spectrum/the-friendship-bracelet-project" target="_blank" rel="noopener">website</a>, it states: &ldquo;One aspect we admire most about Judd&rsquo;s artistic practice is the elegance of design he effortlessly paired with the accessibility of materials that could be found at a hardware store.&rdquo;
The bracelet claim process allowed for two bracelets per Art Blocks NFT held at the snapshot. Collectors were encouraged to gift one of the two bracelets to somebody else, in the hopes of spreading the Art Blocks love.&nbsp;
Not only are the bracelets digital, but they are intended to be physical as well. Each NFT comes with instructions about how to create your Friendship Bracelet IRL with only a few dollars worth of materials.&nbsp;

Since NFT marketplace Blur came about in October 2022 and heightened the creator royalties discussion, there has been some uproar in the generative art space. Many don&rsquo;t want platforms like Art Blocks to be on Blur, as some say it reduces them to token-farming &ldquo;sh*tcoins&rdquo; instead of individual pieces of art.&nbsp;
In the name of market share, even OpenSea followed Blur into reducing royalties to a 0.5% minimum. Artists like Tyler Hobbs have spoken out loudly about the importance of royalties, and Snowfro also believes in 100% enforcement of them.
In December 2022, Snowfro wrote a Twitter <a href="https://twitter.com/ArtOnBlockchain/status/1600875925176217601">thread</a> about his opinions on royalties.&nbsp;

There are three reasons why people would want to use this instead of another marketplace.&nbsp;

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Secure: Built on Seaport (which is what OpenSea uses) and aggregates other marketplaces with Reservoir.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Authentic: Real Art Blocks pieces.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Pro-Artist: Enforces secondary royalties.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Time will tell if collectors will opt to honor artist royalties by using this marketplace, or if they will opt for OpenSea to maximize their own profit returns.&nbsp;
