What Is Creature World's Second Journey?
On Dec. 19, Creature World released "The Second Journey: The Creature Finds Its Voice." Cloaked in mystery, holders had little idea what to expect. The video teaser showed a 5-way road emerge from the clouds after a brief interaction with a cloud-wearing, no-pants creature voiced by creator Danny Cole.
"Hey," the creature said. "You can't talk yet. Come with me. I have some friends you should meet."
What's the Point of Creature World's Second Journey?
Creature World's Second Journey is about expanding the artistic credibility of NFTs, according to Cole.
"Use these tools to make products that are worth being digital," he said. "NFT technology is underwhelming when used to simply distribute the stuff we already have the ability to interact with."
This is only the second of many journeys.
"Creature World created 10,000 unique digital Creatures and distributed them," the Discord announcement reads. "Each Creature found a home with an owner over the last few months."
"Now, the journey begins," the announcement continues. "Your Creature comes from a magical world. It is learning about this world and about itself in real time. Can you help guide it?"
"With each decision you make and each journey you go on, your artwork will update to reflect what your Creature has learned about who it truly is. And with your Creature tied to you - who you truly are."
Upon first inspection, it seems the Second Journey is mostly about changing Creature World NFT metadata. More specifically, it's about selecting the mouthpiece for your Creature World NFT. Each path leads to a different choice. And holders are completely free to decide which mouth to adopt, or keep the one their Creature World NFT originally had.

The Creature World release tomorrow is arguably more important for NFTs as a whole than for Creatures alone.— danny cole (@dannycoleee) December 18, 2021
The masses do not understand how owning digital art allows you to experience it any differently.
So they don’t know why they should own an NFT.
This is THE example.
The Five Paths
After entering Creature World's Second Journey, you're in the cloud and met by a yellow Creature wearing a cloud suit. Similar to the teaser, the Creature says hello and asks you to follow them.
The yellow Creature leads you to an opening in the cloud where you can drop down into a 5-way dirt road intersection. Once you reach the 5-way intersection, five Creatures -- all different colors -- approach you. You can follow each one down a different path, which leads to varying outcomes.
Below, we'll take a look at all of those outcomes.
If you follow the white Creature, eventually you'll come to a group of white Creatures all in a circle. There is an empty spot in the circle. Once you position yourself in that empty spot, a rainbow will form.
After the rainbow changes colors, the white Creature next to you will ask, "is this your voice?" If you answer yes, you'll be taken to a new page that allows you to change your Creature NFT's mouth to "Sacred."
If you do not want to change your Creature NFT's mouth to Sacred, select "I must explore more," and you'll be taken back to the 5-way intersection.
If you follow the blue Creature, you'll come to a group of blue Creatures standing in a circle and holding hands. Once you walk into the empty space in the circle, all the blue Creatures start floating in the air.
Sitting in a circle while floating in the air, the blue Creature next to you will ask the same question: "is this your voice?" Again, if you answer yes, you'll be taken to a new screen where you can change your Creature World NFT's mouth to "Smirking."
If you do not want to change your Creature NFT's mouth to Smirking, select "I must explore more," and you'll be taken back to the 5-way intersection.
If you follow the murky yellow Creature, you'll come to a group of yellow Creatures standing in a circle. As with most of these interaction, you'll enter the circle where the empty space is and the Creatures will start to do something magical.
Watch the magical display and then you'll be asked, again: "is this your voice?" If you answer yes, you'll be taken to a new screen where you can change your Creature World NFT's mouth to "Singing."
If you do not want to change your Creature NFT's mouth to Singing, select "I must explore more," and you'll be taken back to the 5-way intersection.
If you follow the other yellow Creature, you'll come to a group of yellow Creatures running around and screaming. This one is slightly different; there is no circle. Walk up to as many yellow Creatures as possible, and eventually one will ask you: "is this your voice?"
If you answer yes, you'll be taken to a new screen where you can change your Creature World NFT's mouth to "Screaming."
If you do not want to change your Creature NFT's mouth to Screaming, select "I must explore more," and you'll be taken back to the 5-way intersection.
If you follow the red Creature, you'll see hill huts and a group of red Creatures sitting around or chasing each other. If you walk up to enough of them, eventually you'll be prompt the ultimate question: "is this your voice?"
If you answer yes, you'll be taken to a new page that allows you to change your Creature NFT's mouth to "Happy."
If you do not want to change your Creature NFT's mouth to Happy, select "I must explore more," and you'll be taken back to the 5-way intersection.
