Snapshot, Airdrop Coming For Process Grey's Grail #3 Holders
Process Grey, recently revealed as the artist behind "Fixer Upper" (Grail #3) from PROOF's Grails II Mint, announced that the 24 holders of Grail #3 will receive an airdrop of an upcoming generative project, "Fog." A snapshot of holders will be taken at an announced, midday time today, August 26.
A co-founder of Truth Labs, Grey is perhaps best known for the viral art of goblintown.wtf and Illuminati NFT.
While building Grail #3 for use in the Grails II process, Grey became attached to the works created and decided to create a generative project. "This was the perfect medium to mimic the confusing stacking of emotions that exist with depression," said Grey while sharing a generative test output.
"Fog" will be a 96-piece collection that includes three unique, 1-of-1 NFTs. From the collection, 24 NFTs will be airdropped to Grail #3 holders, and another 71 which will be sold via Dutch auction on Sunday, August 28 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The Dutch Auction is expected to start at 5 ETH and drop 0.25 ETH every 15 minutes until a final resting price of 0.25 ETH. Any user who mints above the final sellout price will receive a refund.
Two 1-of-1 NFTs, "Idle" and "Warmth" will be randomly mixed into the mint outputs and airdropped NFTs. A final 1-of-1, "Age" will be auctioned off in an English auction on Monday, August 29 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Grey's Grail #3 has had only one secondary sale, for 6.2 ETH at the time of writing. Only two of the other Grail #3 NFTs are listed for sale at 19 and 23 ETH, respectively.
