Coinbase NFT Adds New Features to Its Homepage

Coinbase added three new features to its homepage: the ability to browse upcoming drops, view trending collections, and discover featured projects.

The new implementations can be seen at nft.coinbase.com and are supposed to make the NFT collecting experience easier for users.

The new browser menu item shows upcoming drops on Coinbase NFT, including the date and time of the drop, as well as featured creators like Bill Murray and pplpleasr. The trending collections can be sorted by total volume over the last day, week, or month.

Coinbase has struggled to gain acceptance within the NFT community, slowly climbing its way to 11,000 active users as of Aug. 8, according to Dune Analytics. The total volume traded per day on Coinbase NFT fluctuates significantly, but maxes out at about $250,000 on most days.

In comparison, OpenSea, which recently added new wallets to its Android mobile app today, did 100 times $250,000 yesterday, reaching $25 million in total volume traded in one day.
