Memeland Teases That a "GmShow" Is Coming Soon

Today, Memeland tweeted that a "GmShow ☕" is coming soon.

What It Means

It's unclear when the show will debut, what the format will be, or even what the timing of the show would be as far as its time slot (given that 9GAG's CEO Ray Chan is based in Asia, in a very different time zone), but it will be something to watch out for.

❗ Why It Matters

A Memeland morning show would allow the Memeland empire to continue to expand its brand and reach even further, as @9GAG currently has 16.9 million Twitter followers and a ~200M monthly audience. Assuming that Ray is serious, of course (and there's no indication he's joking, as Memeland even owns the domain for GmShow.com), and it would make sense given that the Memeland project said a month ago that it was already building out a few other SocialFi products.

🖼️ The Big Picture

Audience numbers for web3 morning shows on Twitter Spaces took a hit after Ryan Carson left the Daily Dose and stepped away from web3 in February, although Zeneca's ZenDaily, Rug Radio's GM Web3, and Nifty Portal's The NFT Morning Show have all stepped up admirably to fill the void.
