Scottie Pippen To Launch Metaverse Sneakers with Orange Comet
NBA legend Scottie Pippen is making a splash in the metaverse as he prepares to launch limited-edition virtual sneakers called "Pippen Kicks" NFTs in collaboration with Orange Comet.
About The Pippen Kicks NFTs
The digital wearables collection will consist of 1,000 unique sneaker NFTs and are dropping on Dec. 20, 2022, on the Ethereum blockchain. The price and the minting details are still to be determined.
Buyers of the NFTs can expect metaverse-ready wearables featuring Orange Comet's signature 3D animations. Each Pippen Kicks NFT will also come with a mystery box, which is said to be "a work-of-art, all on its own" and will reveal in the future.
All holders will be eligible for the Allowlist for Orange Comet's upcoming CØRRUPTED NFT drop coming in 2023, and then select random holders will win the following potential prizes:
- Physical Sneakers (33 pairs)
- Hometown tour with Scottie (1 winner + guest)
- Golf outing with Scottie (2 winners + guests)
