Two More Collections Coming To Blur's Blend Platform on Monday
Today, Blur announced that two more collections are coming to the Blend platform on Monday, May 15th.
What It Means
Once again, we'll see what two collections it ends up being and how it affects price action and the respective ecosystem as a whole.
In any case, it seems like it won't be a Memeland collection (based on this tweet from Memeland regarding NFT finance).
❗ Why It Matters
Blur's introduction of Blend at the start of May has been as big of a jolt to the NFT space as the initial month-long delay from April warranted. It wasn't what people expected, and was it really what people needed?
The long-term ramifications (and benefit to prospective buyers that could be liquidated of their initial investment) of Blur lending remain to be seen, but Blur continues to build quickly and adapt on the fly, so they appear up to the challenge.
🎤 Community Quotes
The consensus sentiment from a poll from NFTstatistics.eth appears to be that Blend announcements will lead to short-term pumps before ultimately retracing (with Milady being the exception of the four collections introduced so far, but perhaps that will remain an outlier because of influence from both early $PEPE users and Elon).
