Ancient Courses of Fictional Rivers is the 286th drop in the Art Blocks Curated collection and was created by artist Robert Hodgin. 

"Ancient Courses is a generative experience that explores the aesthetics of meandering rivers and the settlements that form on their banks," Hodgin said about his project.

The meandering of the river has been simulated via a custom algorithm that closely represents the real-life process of a meandering river. 

A set amount of Ancient Courses of Fictional Rivers come with a treasure map feature and holders of a piece with the treasure map feature are able to request a physical print of their NFT.
